Reflective Glass

There are 2 reasons causing glass break in tempered glass, one is the high impact hit and another is the error in production which left some dirt inside the glass.
Laminated Glass
Laminated glass is the use of 2 slices or more piece of glass with the PVB (Poly Vinyl Butyral) film in between. It is claimed that the laminated glass is able to prevent almost 99% of UV as well as giving the highest security to the family members. Once the glass is break, the broken pieces of glass will still stick to the film and the film will never be damaged by the broken glass.
Low-E Glass
Low-E glass is the glass with the thin Pyrolytic coated over the surface which is suitable for the protection of heat and sunlight. Low-E glass gives low heat reflection as well as low heat transferred.
Insulated Glass
Insulated glass is the system which requires 2 or more pieces of glass with the aluminum air gap in between. In western countries, people preferred to fill the argon gas in the gap to slow the sound and heat that is being kept in the air gap. With the technology of air gap, it will help slow down the incoming sound as well as heat efficiently. Insulated glass also recommended as one of the energy saving glass in the construction business.
Clear Float Glass
Clear float glass is the glass which provides clearer view than normal anneal glass. The surface of the clear float glass is very clear and clearer than other types of glass. Clear float glass gives better vision to the building and residences with many different thicknesses from 2 – 20 mm. with the length of 3 – 12 meters per bay.
Stained glass
Figured glass is the glass with texture printed on one side of the glass, the surface will not be smooth but another side will be smooth as usual. Figured glass is almost semi-opaque; objects can still be seen through the glass but not as clear as clear glass. Figured glass is widely used in interior work like glass wall, fixed light above window and door, etc. and can be used in all kinds of residences and buildings.
Wired Glass
Wired glass is the glass built together steel wire in the middle of the glass. It is considered as one of the safety glass especially to be used with the fire exit doors. The glass and its wire can stand against heat of up to 1000 degrees Celsius for almost an hour. The wired weaved inside the glass will hold the glass from breaking from heat. During the fire, smoke will not allow to pass through the glass. In terms of psychology, wired glass can help increase burglarproof ability too. Wired glass is often used as part of the fire exit doors in almost every high-rise building, chemical storage, glass roof, etc.
Sanded Glass
Sanded glass is considered as type of textured glass, the texture is made by sand. The process is simple by spraying sand (aluminum oxide) on the glass to make texture. The glass was not decorated by the sand but the sand actually damages the glass surface into whatever texture preferred. Apart from aluminum oxide sand, natural sand can also be used in the production of sanded glass too but natural sand was not preferred as the sharpness of sand is less than the aluminum oxide one. It will take longer production time for natural sand to completely spray than spraying them with the aluminum oxide sand. The process is to place the texture block over the glass surface then cover the glass area which does not require spray with PVC sticker. There are 2 ways of sanded which are positive and negative, positive is to have floated texture over the clear glass and negative provides clear texture over the floated glass
Frosted Glass
Frosted glass is the glass which adding the process to blur the glass for the increase of privacy. Frosted glass allows incoming light but not the visually view, therefore, the room still bright but cannot see outside clearly. The view will appear in shadow and outside is not allow seeing the inside too. Frosted glass often found use in bathroom and toilet the most as these places required high level of privacy. The use of curtain in the bathroom and toilet will be a very bad idea as fabric maybe rod from humid collected in the place.
Curved Glass
Bended glass is one of the decoration glass categories which can be used for exterior and interior. The production of the curved glass is just like other glass but need a curve mold to bend the glass into the desired shape. The production of curve glass also required higher heat than the normal glass as well. Curved glass is widely used in automobile business and found a lot in construction industries too. Curved glass can be used in the building of tunnel as well as having them for canopy surrounding the building. To have curved glass installed with window and door should increase better image to window and door for sure.
